Our site is one of the first Waste Management facilities in the UK to have a full fire prevention plan approved by the Environment Agency.
In liaison with the Environment Agency, we were one of the first Waste Management and Scrap Metal Processing facilities in the UK to gain an Environment Agency Approved Fire Prevention Plan.
This involved having comprehensive physical and management arrangements for fire prevention, which included construction of substantial cement block bays to segregate material, built using our sister company Hereford Quarries’ Concrete Interlocking Blocks.
