Six new heavy good vehicles arrive
Wye Valley Group has strengthened its fleet with the arrival of six new heavy goods vehicles, representing a sizable investment in capacity, efficiency and customer service.
The vehicles will be deployed across the Group’s operations, supporting its teams as they collect, process and transport materials. The additions form part of WVG’s programme of fleet renewal and will help the company maintain reliable services while improving operational resilience.
The investment comes at a time when businesses across the sector continue to face challenging trading conditions, including elevated operating costs, uncertain markets and persistent pressure on margins.

Despite that backdrop, Wye Valley Group remains committed to investing for the long term and equipping its people with the resources required to serve customers safely and efficiently.
Managing Director Andrew Howell said: “This is a significant investment for the group and a clear demonstration of our confidence in the future. Conditions remain challenging, and every major spending decision must be considered carefully, but standing still is not an option.
“These six new vehicles will strengthen our capabilities across the business, support our colleagues and help us continue delivering the dependable service our customers expect.”
The new HGVs will complement the Group’s existing fleet and provide additional flexibility across its operations. Their introduction also underlines Wye Valley Group’s wider focus on maintaining high standards, planning responsibly and continuing to invest even when the economic environment is demanding.
