A Management Systems Business Administrator is required for the expanding Wye Valley Group; Metals, Skip, Demolition and Hereford Quarries businesses.

The role requires to supporting all business areas including: Management Systems administrator, maintain training programmes and records, maintain non-conformance and accident records, maintain supplier records, complete client questionnaires and other tender documentation, assist in developing Project Method Statements, Risk Assessments and site plans, maintain, review and archive site project and waste records, support project plant hire, labour & stores arrangements, General office administration duties.

Abilities / strengths

Motivated, punctual and be able to work on their own initiative.

Highly numerate & outstanding attention to accuracy and detail.

Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.

Candidates must be able to work to tight deadlines, be well organised, prioritise their own workload, work well in a team or individually,

Excellent working knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, What’s App and other IT communication methods essential.

Flexibility

Cover for holidays, sick days and training outside of normal working hours if required.

Ability and willingness to undertake roles on other sites will be required with the appropriate training.

Wye Valley Group require a Trainee Plant Fitter at our site in Rotherwas, Hereford.
Working as part of a team managing of Heavy and Light Plant maintenance, inspections and repairs.
Training will be given and qualifications to be gained.
Clean driving licence preferable.
Good adherence to all company policies and procedures including health and safety required.
An ability to operate in a busy and demanding environment with the opportunity to work with a wide range of Plant.
A flexible approach to daily tasks required allowing for a range of skills to be gained and continually look for improvement.
You must be organised and a self-motivated individual that will meet deadlines and seek the next tasks to be completed.
You will be required to maintain a good housekeeping routine and have excellent communication and team working skills.

We are currently seeking a HGV & Plant Workshop Co-ordinator, Administrator / Storesperson to provide Support with running our busy commercial and plant workshop.

Our busy workshop undertakes an extremely interesting and varied section of works including servicing and repairs of lorries, trailers, cars, vans and plant, located at our Rotherwas Facility in Hereford.

The role will largely involve record keeping, sourcing of parts, consumables and equipment, controlling stock and liaising with suppliers and workshop for best pricing / supply structure for our large range of vehicles, plant and equipment.

The successful candidate should have;

  • Good IT literacy with good communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for problem solving
  • Self-motivation and organisation skills
  • Willing to assist forwarding our business
  • Driving licence
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Good team interaction skills

This is a permanent position within our firm with opportunity to progress.

This is a full time position which will involve undertaking repairs both on site and in our busy workshop to a wide range of fixed and mobile equipment from manufacturers including Liebherr, Komatsu, Caterpillar etc.

· Previous experience of minor and major plant repairs
· Experience of welding and fabrication
· UK driving licence
